Hey,

I’ve never really shared this publicly before, but here goes. Tbh, when I was in my late 20s, I was going through a rough patch after my divorce. I started drinking way too much and lost my job ‘cause I kept calling in sick. It was a whole mess, lol.

One night I woke up on the bathroom floor and realized I couldn’t keep going like that. So I started going to therapy and quit drinking completely. It’s been almost 5 years now. I still have bad days, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come.

I probably shouldn’t say this, but I also used to take sleeping pills every night just to knock myself out. It was scary, and I’m just really glad I’m not there anymore. If you’re going through anything like this, please get help—it’s worth it.
